This Friday, for once, Planeet Sauna will land on earth! For this occasion, the 2025 makes space for a steam filled module in which a series of small performances will take place. In what way are you 'naked' in a sauna, when it's natural to be naked in a sauna? In a range of different atmospheres, Charlotte ten Raa, Leyla de Muynck (Any Kind Of Creature theatre group) in collaboration with visual artist Terry Vreeburg, are exploring the awkwardness of being naked. Intimate, absurd or simple feelings of shame, the naked body remains an easy target for swift conclusions, but does this also count when nakedness is a part of a functionality? Come around to visit Planeet Sauna. Warm and wet, bathrobes are provided! |
